I love this! The fashion in Scooby Doo has always been iconic, but it’s interesting to see how it’s changed over the years. Thanks for sharing :)

Very true. It has been well constructed and changed, subtlety over its history which has kept a simple idea fresh for different generations.

Thank you for this look at the fashion side of Scooby Doo, which isn't something I ever really considered before, but now realise is a really iconic part of the show! I always think of the characters in their 1970s/80s fashions, but I hadn't realised that the animators had changed their looks throughout to incorporate current fashion trends.

Thank you. Animators often do this subtlety to reflect cultural changes in fashion and other areas of cultural touchstones.

So cool the way these characters have changed with the trends!

It's all about the grunge look for me :)

Really happy it's back, in some circles at least.

Great piece. What an iconic cartoon. We all know the mystery machine was secretly called the shaggin’ wagon…

I loved this show as a kid in the early 70s. I didn't know it was still going. I'm glad to hear that the kids are still meddling.

It's probably the longest running franchise in television animation history by now, and part of that is a result, as you show here, of how easily it can change with the times.
