I loved Jamie and Wordsworth, and always wanted a ride on their helter skelter! The theme tune was also fun :)

I loved this series, but not as much as I loved Danger Mouse. I think if I try I could probably still sing the theme tune.

I’ve never heard of Jamie and Wordsmith, but it sounds like a creative and imaginative watch! I love your spotlight on this nostalgic classic, it’s cool that they used a handwritten technique to animate it :)

Me too. DM was so cool, although Penfold (my icon) is way cooler 😎

No it definitely happened 😎 I loved it, it was such a simple show with a cracking theme tune. 😁

It is a great name. The dog was a wonderful old English sheep dog too.

Thanks for reading.

This looks like fun! And I love that there’s a character named Wordsworth.

I always thought that was a nice touch!

If this was an American show and not a British one, it would have been called "Jamie And The Magic Flashlight." Not as intriguing...

I’m so glad you included this - I was the only one of my friends to remember it from when we were little (I was tiny when it was on TV but I really loved it and always asked to go on heater skelters at funfairs!). They all insisted I was making the show up, and that I had imagined it!
