Quick one for the fun facts: the characters from the Dungeons&Dragons cartoon actually appear as people in the recent live action film (with Chris Pine - we don’t talk about the 90s Jeremy Irons abomination). They are one of the other teams in the labyrinth sequence (and can be seen in at least one of the trailers too). 😁
It would be great if they produced the finale Requiem in the original format. There must be one billionaire who loved the show, who would be prepared to pay for it!
I had actually forgotten that this was an animation back in the 80s! I always now associate it with the cult of D&D gaming. But it was actually a fun cartoon :)
Very true. Was a real trailblazer when we look back now. Thanks as ever for reading and taking the time to comment.
I know what you mean. D&D 2.0 for a new generation 😎
Like Kate, I had completely forgotten about the animation too. To me now, D&D is Stranger Things and the Hellfire Club. Bring back Eddie Munson!

It was a fun cartoon indeed and has continued to be popular with the board games etc afterwards. Thanks for reading.
A stand-out series for television animation in a decade that didn't entirely view it favorably.
