I loved The Sword and the Stone when I was little. As you say, it's an underrated but fantastic Disney classic. So interesting that they used a blend of live-action and animation during production. You've made me want to re-watch it
Disney feature film production was arguably at its best while Walt himself was still alive. People who think the studio's current product sucks should be shown the older stuff more so that they know what Disney is REALLY all about.
All time Disney favourite. Thanks for paying it tribute 🤝❤️
The original book is a forgotten classic.

Love this. The falcon fact is so cool! How advanced for that time.
He was a perfectionist. He knew what people expected from him and gave it to them. That's what the people who run the studio now don't get.
Lovely write-up of an often neglected classic - thanks 😊

Great Jon. Time for a rewatch of this I think!
I loved this film, and now have to go find it for a rewatch - the magic fight was brilliant 🤩
Based on one of my favourite books, I read this over and over. The film was good, but the humour and affection of the book is something else!
