I loved The Sword and the Stone when I was little. As you say, it's an underrated but fantastic Disney classic. So interesting that they used a blend of live-action and animation during production. You've made me want to re-watch it

He was a perfectionist. He knew what people expected from him and gave it to them. That's what the people who run the studio now don't get.

Disney feature film production was arguably at its best while Walt himself was still alive. People who think the studio's current product sucks should be shown the older stuff more so that they know what Disney is REALLY all about.

Based on one of my favourite books, I read this over and over. The film was good, but the humour and affection of the book is something else!
