Soooo many memories...Horrid Henry was definitely not as horrid as his parents made out! Loved this look back; I hadn't realised CITV was no longer on the air.
How sad that CITV has stopped. My daughter loved Horrid Henry, it was great to have a character that was not perfect. As you say "Horrid Henry offered children across the world a chance to explore their devious side."
Lovely post - I hadn’t realised CITV had stopped broadcasting (I don’t have kids of my own and my nieces prefer CBBC). Sorry to see it go, as they had a lot of old favourites. All the Cosgrove Hall shows started there, along with some other great classics!
I loved Fun House and ZZZap! on CITV! :D
The footy cartoon The Hurricanes was a favourite, and how could we ever forget Knightmare!
I *really* wanted to go on Knightmare, but couldn’t persuade any of my friends to apply with me
I loved Knightmare but I never thought I'd be good enough to go on it haha
Nostalgic, funny and sweet, Jon. Happy memories indeed.

Thank you for featuring my guest post! It's great to see other people's CITV recommendations in the comments, too :)
Brilliant post, loved the idea of a channel look.

So true, some great animation was aired there.
"Chowder" was damned funny. It merits having its own article.
I did a chowder piece a while ago it was an absolute classic.
