That is such a good summary. Yes, you are so right about Zia for sure. You are also on the money on mortally grey (sketchy 😁) characters. Thanks for reading. PS I listened to the theme tune about 9 times this week when finishing the research. 😁

I loved this show as a kid! Not only did it have a great plot, and the cool Condor, but Zia was fab - not too wet, like most girls in cartoons of that era! The historical and cultural segments at the end of each show were fun too. 😍

Mendoza and Sancho (most of the adults in it, really) were my first introduction to morally grey characters. You weren’t sure quite whether to trust them or not for large chunks of it, which added a lot of tension to the story.
