One of my first memories seeing chip & dale is in a Disneys Christmas carol as a kid! Thanks for writing such fascinating pieces! I always learn a lot from you.

Like many characters of their time, they were not one person's lone creation but had several "fathers" who developed their signature appearance and behavior over time. This happened with most of the character's in animation's Golden Age, and not just at Disney.
