I loved the Captain Pugwash TV series. Thank you for the reminder. I am amazed that all the voices were done by one person.

It's interesting that Hawkins had to be hidden from the animators to do his voices. If it had been an American program, especially a 21st century one, the animators could have observed him speaking and incorporated his facial tics into the animation of the individual character.

Another nice essay about a beloved UK show that us folks across the pond likely never heard of before. (I didn't).
